My workout routine
I want to say this to people, who
struggles with keeping a routine or try to stay on a diet. It's okay to have a
goal for example doing this workout 3-4 times a week, but in the end you do it
just one time in a week. Because every workout, every do-over counts ! At
least, you're trying. It doesn't matter if you are on a diet, which restricts
you from eating junk food or candy's and you cheated once, twice or multiple
times. Don't be sad about it, you just start over and begin again with your
"diet" or new routine and it's all okay, because every time you start
over and have a day without junk food, it also counts! If you started 50 times
over again, it means you achieved 50 days without eating junk food and that really
counts. Eventually you will get there and you will achieve your new routine.
New routine/new habit takes a lot of effort and a long period of time.
I recommend doing this workout three to
four times a week for achieving goals. But I don't do that because, I don't
want to achieve my goal, so badly, that I have to do it three to four times a
week. I do this workout routine whenever I feel like it.
Right now, I have lots of free time since
I have a summer holiday from school. So, I have also more time to work out at
home and therefore I came up with a routine and I will try to do this few times in
my summer holiday.
Cardio
For cardio I like to run, bike, skip rope or go for a swim !
Workout at home
Booties/legs :
-Dog leg lift ; 30 x each leg
-Dog side leg lift 30 x each leg
-Hip bridges 30 x
-Squats 30 x
-Lunges 15-30 x
-Side lunges 15 x
Abs :
- Crunches 20 x 2 reps
-Leg lift 30 x
-Single leg lift 15 x each leg
-Bicycle 1 minute
- Plank 1 minute
- Crossover mountain climber 1 minute
- Russian twists 50 x
-The roll with legs 30 seconds
-Starfish Crunches 30 seconds
-Double leg circles 30 seconds
- Flutter kicks 30 seconds
-Full sit ups 30 x
-Oblique crunches 15 x each side
